Welcome to Opendance
Opendance is a non-profit, intergenerational, Arts and Educational Outreach Company, which teaches multi-cultural classes and dance programs out of school, during and after school for all ages, as well as a dance company, which performs in schools, community centers and theatres.
Opendance teachers are roster artists with the Arizona Commission of the Arts. We exist by grants and donations, our classes and programs are free or by donation. We provide education and entertainment through school and community based residencies.
In collaboration with Arizona schools, we have submitted grants to continue quality dance arts programming before, during and after school for 2009-10. These grants are matching.
